Need Free Crochet Patterns? No Problem!
In this endless sea of useless AI “patterns” it can be hard to find a space where you can go to find free crochet amigurumi patterns that you know were made by someone real and won’t end up with you making a rather blobby looking mantra ray with 6 eyes!
That’s why I have decided to start adding FREE crochet patterns to the Knotty Bear Studio website. In hopes that it will allow crocheters of all skill levels to continue enjoying this craft that we all love so much!
Now as much as I would live to make all my patterns free, I do also have to make a living and a lot of the time these patterns take many hours to make so that’s why some are a little more basic than others. For example a pattern note is a bare bones pattern that only includes the require information like what stitches to make and how many, it will not include many photos if any or details on how to make certain stitches. This is why I recommend only using these patterns if you have made a few amigurumi already and have a good understanding of different stitch types, abbreviations, crochet techniques etc.

Other patterns are a little more in depth like my newly retired Frederick the Fox! This was my first ever official KB pattern and I recently made it free to download! While it is still a little more advanced it does include images, step-by-step instructions, tips and more to make the process of crocheting him a breeze!
You can read the description to see all the information on these free patterns and pick the right on for you!
I hope to keep on making more free patterns available to you all here on my website however if you want even more patterns and notes from me consider joining my Patreon! All Good and Fully Stuffed members receive access to my full pattern note library with a growing collection of almost 30 characters (some of my design and others you may already know and love) this is great if you are always looking for your next amigurumi to make! You also get free gifts of my official patterns for joining, Discord access, shop discounts and of course you will be directly supporting me! I hope to see you there and you can let me know which pattern I should make next.
While I love making patterns it’s not always easy in this new world of AI patterns taking over all the spaces in which I used to post my designs, on top of that there are so many scams that steal free patterns like these and sell them as their own! If you happen to see any of my patterns sold anywhere but my website please don’t hesitate to reach out and let me know.
Happy crocheting knotty friends!
